Brazil Dominates Energy Drink Consumption in the Latin America Market

Reportstack has announced that energy drink consumption in Brazil is high and growing, leading to an overall CAGR of 21.24 percent from 2014-2018 for all of Latin America. Brazilians consumed 43.28 million gallons of energy drink in 2013, and this number is expected to reach 121.15 million by 2018.

Latin America’s urban population and growing middle class are other factors that are also influencing an increase in energy drink consumption in the area. More than 50 percent of Latin America’s population falls under middle class and the increased popularity of energy drinks, specifically among young people, are leading to projected revenues of US$3.93 billion by 2018.
