US Market Report for Immediate Full Dentures 2016 - MedCore is a new market research publication announced by Reportstack. Two methods were employed in order to estimate the annual sales of immediate full dentures. The first method derives number of dentures arches from widely accepted market values and market segmentation used by a U.S. based national dental association coupled with an estimate of the ASPs. The second method is based on the results of the latest available nationwide survey conducted by a government research agency over 1994 to 2004 regarding the tooth loss statistics in the U.S. coupled with the latest estimates of the population demographics, as well as a set of observations of the U.S. based international dental association. In order to arrive to the number of arches of immediate full dentures the sampled statistics from interviewing dental labs regarding the percent of immediate full dentures arches out of all full dentures were then applied to both methods. Both methodologies were discussed with the dental labs during the interviews and both were assessed as “reasonable” by the interviewees.

The unit growth is mainly driven by a demographic shift towards the senior population. The increase in pricing has been outpacing inflation for the last past five years mainly due to increased value proposition (i.e. more expensive materials and labor for more visually appealing products).
