  • According to a decree issued on July 1, 2016, foreign firms can reinsure a maximum of 90% of their total business.
  • The government issued Decree No. 73/2016/ND-CP on implementation and amendments to certain articles of the Law on Insurance Business, which came into effect from July 1, 2016.
  • According to Decree 67/ND-CP, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) implemented aquaculture insurance products, for which Vietnam National Reinsurance Corporation (Vinare) was chosen as the reinsurer.
